Getting there

Most of the members of the Baffin Island expedition flew from Montreal to the island settlement of Clyde in May, in a Royal Canadian Air Force plane.  Then began the process of moving ten tons of supplies to camps further inland, utilizing aircraft and more traditional means of transportation
